I noticed you used Alex Delarge's prison number "655321" rather than the actual "6655321"? Does this indicate you love the movie more? Some say that the only reason the number is shortened for the movie is for enunciation purposes.
I would by no means say I prefer the movie to book. Although the movie is an amazing adaptation one that I have loved for years. The way the the movie ends, as you know, is not how the book ends. So of course I prefer the original literature. I went with the movie numbers because originally I was going to simply get a portrait tattoo of the scene where Alex’ eye is being forced open. Then I decided it would be boring and I was tired of seeing so many similar ‘Clockwork Orange tattoos’ (like the original movie poster, etc) But I still wanted to incorporate that image from the film. In the end the tattoo became a Clockwork Orange collection haha. But I would say that it in its majority is based on the film.
For example, The Beethoven portrait. If you read the novel you know that Alex shows fondness for Handel, Mozart, Bach etc.The film narrows his affection down to just Beethoven. So I just got Beethoven.
